Karen Lindstrom is passionate about advocacy, public service and physical fitness. Her interest in serving others first stemmed from serving on the City of Walker Youth Commission in high school.
During college, she worked as an Intern at the United States Attorney’s Office under the Victim Witness Coordinator and Law Enforcement Coordinator. Since then she has served as a volunteer with Kent County Prosecutor’s Victim Witness Unit whose mission is to protect the rights of crime victims in the community. She also served as a Victim Advocate with the Kent County Sheriff’s Victim Services Unit where she provided immediate crisis support to the loved ones of victims who passed away.
Ms. Lindstrom currently resides in Chicago, Illinois where she works in the Department of Research at the Radiological Society of North America. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Grand Valley State University.
