Sierra McKissick is a graduate student at Vanderbilt University. Her commitment to improving the lives of others is reflected in her current studies at Vanderbilt University where she majors in Divinity.
In addition to her academic commitments, Ms. McKissick is the co-founder of the Agape Love Explosion (founded in 2006), an organization dedicated to combating violence within the at-risk youth community of Saginaw, Michigan. She has done many projects in giving back to her hometown and plans to continue to give back to Saginaw, a city that has given so much to her.
Ms. McKissick currently interns with the Hope Clinic for Women in Nashville, Tennessee as a Counselor. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Upon completion of her Masters program, Ms. McKissick plans to enter into a Ph.D. program to become a Clinical Pastoral Counselor. Ms. McKissick’s desire to serve is grounded in her passion to love God’s people. Her greatest plea is to leave this earth with a legacy that is transparent to the glory to God. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fisk University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.
